InnerTrek’s First Cohort of 100+ Facilitator Trainees Graduate

We are excited to announce that over the weekend, more than 100 people graduated from InnerTrek’s psilocybin therapy facilitator training program in Oregon. They represent the first cohort of graduates from this program — and will soon become the first generation of psilocybin facilitators in our state. Many of the graduates took the state licensing exam on Sunday, putting them on track to become the first state licensed psilocybin service facilitators in Oregon .

We congratulate everyone who completed the program and we’re eager for them to begin supporting their communities with safe, accessible psilocybin therapy later this year.

Additionally, we are sad to hear that Synthesis, a training center in Jackson County, recently ceased its operations. This is a huge loss for the Oregon psychedelic community, particularly for the students training to be facilitators and for people in Southern Oregon who need access to psilocybin therapy.

We will continue to report as more training programs graduate students and, not too long from now, service centers open their doors to provide breakthrough psilocybin services to people who could benefit from it.

Why Support the Healing Advocacy Fund? Meet Seth Mehr

Our work is fueled by your generosity, especially as Oregon and Colorado begin their programs and as we work to support other states joining the movement. By donating to the Healing Advocacy Fund, you can directly impact people who are suffering and who deserve access to this life-changing treatment.

"I give to the Healing Advocacy Fund because it is fighting for higher safety measures and standards as Oregon's psilocybin program begins. This work is essential to ensure the success of Oregon's program and will help promote sustainability as legal psilocybin services expand across the country. I am especially pleased that my funds help support facilitator training for applicants who otherwise couldn't afford these programs."

Heroic Hearts Project: Exploring the Potential of Psilocybin Therapy for Veterans

Heroic Hearts Project UK facilitates opportunities for healing by connecting military and emergency services veterans struggling with mental trauma to progressive therapy retreats around the world. They are now working with Imperial College London to conduct an observational study on the potential of psilocybin therapy for veterans who have experienced traumatic brain injuries. Every participant in the study will be provided with access to psilocybin (there won't be any placebos given). The format of the study is also important because it incorporates the effects of the holistic experience — preparing for, participating in and integrating a full ceremonial experience, including coaching, building community, and more.
