Learn more about Oregon’s psilocybin services program

Finding Oregon Service Centers & Facilitators

Healing Advocacy Fund works with service centers to maintain an accurate list of active centers across the state, and also works to share current lists of licensed facilitators. You can learn more by visiting our Oregon Service Center Directory.

Service Center: A Service Center is the only location where clients can legally purchase and consume psilocybin under Oregon’s regulated model. This is not a dispensary model, and clients may only purchase and consume psilocybin from a licensed service center if they have completed a preparation session with a licensed facilitator.

Facilitator: An individual licensed by the Oregon Health Authority to facilitate psilocybin services in the state of Oregon

Oregon Client Testimonials

As of December 2023, Oregon’s state-regulated program for psilocybin therapy has served more than 600 clients. Each individual has their own personal reason for seeking out psychedelic healing. Learn more about their individual journeys from these client testimonials.

KC’s Story

In 2023, Oregon opened its doors to clients seeking psilocybin therapy under the nation’s first state-regulated psilocybin therapy program. One of the first clients to utilize the program is KC, a social worker who has dealt with depression all her life, stemming from an abusive childhood. KC sought out psilocybin therapy after many attempts at other modalities which did not meet her desires for personal connection, and freedom from emotional hardship.

Bill’s Story

One of the first clients to utilize Oregon’s first-in-the-nation psilocybin therapy program is Bill, a retired army captain seeking deeper connection with his loved ones after a childhood that left him feeling disconnected from his emotions. Bill also seeks first-hand experience as he earns his Master’s Degree to become a counselor for other veterans, which are a particular group who have been shown to benefit from psilocybin therapy.
