Referrals into the State-Regulated Psilocybin Therapy Programs
Across Colorado, Oregon, and New Mexico, we are stepping into a new era of possibilities for integration of state-regulated psilocybin therapy with existing healthcare programs and services – including opportunities for healthcare providers to directly refer clients for psilocybin care.
The psilocybin experience is one piece of a larger puzzle in supporting meaningful and sustained changes in clients’ quality of life. Infrastructure and education are needed to connect existing healthcare programs and providers with licensed psilocybin facilitators in a way that honors the complexity of real-world experiences across different phases of a client’s healing journey.
This session will explores how to determine whether a client is a good fit for psilocybin therapy now or in the future; how to support clients towards greater preparedness for a psilocybin therapy session; and additional ways healthcare providers can support clients after a psilocybin experience.
Join panelists Inna Zelikman, PMH-NP; Joshua White of Fireside Project; and Yuriy Blokhin of Homecoming Health to consider how we can foster communication across diverse specializations to support integrated psychedelic care – and how psilocybin therapy might invite us to re-imagine approaches to health and wellbeing.
